Launching a New Online Certification Course
After a fall pilot we officially rolled out a new online course, TES Basic Certification, this February. Offered monthly, this intensive online workshop is held over two half-days with hands-on instruction and exercises to complete. Space is limited to 15 people, and those who complete the course are awarded official TES Basic certification status.
The experience levels of attendees range from brand-new TES users to people who have been using it for many years. Everyone can learn something! Online training is very convenient, so offering this course on a regular basis is a no-brainer. Don’t take our word for it—below are examples of the feedback we’ve received. Like always, we take the comments we get from our users and work to make the next class even better.
“I like walking through every one of the features and being given examples of how we might use them. I also like the ‘try this’ opportunities and the homework assignments. Gives us a chance to practice what we just saw. Not as easy as it sounds.”
“I had watched the webinars on the various functions of TES and was a little worried that this would simply be a rehash of that content. I am happy to say that I got a lot out of the Basic Certification that I hadn’t gotten out of the webinars so it was definitely worth the time and money.”
“There are functions in TES that I had no idea about. I have been using it almost 9 years and I had no idea that we could see some of these things.”
“Overall, I was very satisfied with the TES certification. I definitely feel like it expanded my broad knowledge of the product and made me an even more competent user.”
“This is a great overview of TES features. John is a great presenter, his sense of humor makes learning this information that much more enjoyable.”
“Covers all the base functions that one would need to use or be familiar with in order use TES on a regular basis.”
See for yourself
Come find out what all the excitement is about and get even more out of TES. There are two upcoming training sessions scheduled. (This course would make a great primer for anyone coming to the CollegeSource Annual Conference in June!)
