Meet Our 2017 Certified TES Administrators!

The second class of CollegeSource Certified TES Administrators made their way through the curriculum at the 2017 CollegeSource Annual Conference.

Training begins with a four hour (two-sessions) preconference workshop in which attendees get a deeper view of TES – less of “how” to use TES and more “why” it works the way it does. The workshop also provides attendees with best practices for justifying and implementing TES at their institutions. Following the in-depth pre-con workshop, certification candidates attended several prescribed sessions to further solidify their understanding and depth of knowledge with respect to TES.

As a result, Certified TES Administrators gain:

  • A deeper understanding of the history and composition of TES
  • Insight into how the CollegeSource database, the first and only comprehensive collection of course and catalog data in existence, is built
  • Strategies for advocating for TES in budget discussions
  • Tips for building a great TES team and securing faculty buy-in
  • Insight into new and planned TES features, as well as early access to those features
  • A general mastery of the many processes within TES
