CollegeSource is constantly working to improve the performance and features of its products. Last month’s major product releases include:
The 184.108.40.206 release of u.achieve is the first release of the brand new reporting library that includes support for all three report formats: text, PDF, and HTML. In addition to improved reporting functions, the 220.127.116.11 release focused on two processing issues:
• UACH-947: Improved Com.POSTTR and Com.POSTCOND functionality
• UACH-1075: Adjustment to prevent original course and split course parts from matching in the same requirement group.
For detailed release notes, clients may visit the u.achieve® 18.104.22.168 page in our Support Center.
Clicking the puzzle icon when viewing course details in Course Finder has always taken users one step closer to creating a match between the transfer course and a course from their own institution. Now the puzzle piece is grayed out if an equivalency for the transfer course already exists, saving users from clicking into the next screen to discover this and then clicking back out. Also, the ability to change a user’s password has been moved to the User Preferences screen to reduce menu clutter.
CollegeSource will be presenting three webinars in September for our degree audit clients.
Audit Data Analysis: Part 1
September 12, 2012 from 2:00pm – 3:00pm EST
The first of two webinars in which we provide an introduction to the results of detailed calculations available in the u.achieve® output tables. In this and the follow up webinar, we’ll review what is in the data, the relationships between the tables, and the types of questions that could be answered by mining the data.
Batch Access Software Demonstration
September 20, 2012 from 2:30pm – 3:30pm EST
Learn how the CollegeSource Batch Access Software can easily enable non-technical end users to create, run, schedule, and securely share batch runs of degree audits. Batch selection criteria can be as simple or as complex as you want to make it and administrators can easily add blackout times to prevent large batch runs from interfering with other campus priorities. Join us for a demonstration on the use of this product and for information about what you need to get started with the Batch Access Software in your office!
ANDs and ORs and Ranges: Oh My!
September 25, 2012 from 2:30pm – 3:30pm EST
AND, OR, and range functions don’t always play nicely together. In this webinar (a repeat of the session by the same name at the 2012 User Conference), we will review these functions separately and in combination. We will then use real-world examples to demonstrate ways to avoid conflicts and pitfalls.
