Position Purpose:

As a member of CollegeSource, Inc. (CSI), a successful Implementation Specialist will provide functional training, guidance and support to new and current clients for CSI products.

Essential Functions:
  • Develop, document, and communicate requirements for the implementation of CSI solutions
  • Assist in the maintenance of systems to insure data and system integrity
  • Develop use cases and support software testing
  • Work effectively with clients to discuss and understand their institution’s needs. Translate those needs to processes and procedures within the various solutions
  • Train clients on CSI products through demos, webinars and workshops
  • Collaborate with other CSI teams concerning new product initiatives including product development
  • Provide timely and accurate web-based support for specific client issues through online software support request tool
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and professionally with customers, product developers, functional experts
  • Demonstrated success at self-management of activities
  • Extensive travel required (up to 50%)
  • Must be able to be seated on the phone and work on a computer 90% of the time
  • Remote work will be considered, but will require in-person visits to the Cincinnati, OH office periodically
Education/Experience
  • 5 years minimum of Higher Education experience required – curriculum, advising, Registrar or Admissions
  • 5 years minimum working with CollegeSource uAchieve software required
  • Must have strong customer service experience and a desire to learn and support new systems
  • Intermediate/Advanced computer skills using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and software applications
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Understanding of relational database usage, SQL, client-server concepts and requirement management tools
