We are grateful for another successful Annual Conference attended by so many of our product users from institutions all over the nation. What a week!
The 2018 CollegeSource Annual Conference was held at the gorgeous Paradise Point Resort & Spa on June 18-21 in San Diego, CA. This was our first time on the getaway island destination and the bay views did not disappoint. We’re excited to say we had the biggest group of attendees yet at this year’s gathering, with just under 260 Higher Ed professionals joining us for user training, networking, entertainment, as well as big announcements including the unveiling of uAchieve in the cloud and Schedmule, the new dynamic student scheduling platform!
Create, Reflect, Work, Play
This year, we focused on the four critical “spaces” of Create, Reflect, Work, and Play. Our staff put together plenty of activities to embody the spaces and we hope our attendees were able to feel them come to life. If you felt like creating, attendees could take photos at our photo booth within a fun, retro trailer. Those who wanted to reflect could do so while giving back at our first-ever blood drive at the conference, hosted in partnership with the San Diego Blood Bank. Another way to reflect was at the Yoga and Meditation sessions that we created exclusively for CollegeSource Annual Conference attendees, held at a peaceful and secluded outdoor sanctuary on the resort.
Needless to say, our attendees worked; brains were working rigorously at the well-attended, information-packed sessions, and at the Wizard Bar (back by popular demand!) where attendees could receive one-on-one time with product experts to ask their toughest questions. Last but not least, attendees could play like kids once again with conference goodies like frisbees and beach balls, on the long stretches of sandy beach, and at one of the resort’s five pools or athletic courts. We’re happy to say that attendees were creating, reflecting, working, and playing all week long, in so many ways beyond those mentioned above, and all across the beautiful Paradise Point grounds.
